Kasbora
Kasbora is a modern cloud-based business management application designed for shops, small businesses, and business partners. It provides a simple and secure way to manage products, sales, purchases, expenses, capital, partners, receivables, and financial reports from one application.
Overview
Kasbora was designed to simplify everyday business management. Business owners can create a company account and receive a unique Business ID. Other partners can create their own accounts and join the same business securely using that ID. All authorized members can access shared business data across multiple devices, while administrative operations such as partner management, capital control, and ownership remain protected. The application uses a cloud-based architecture, allowing business data to remain synchronized, accessible, and recoverable even when users change or lose their devices.
The problem
Many small businesses still manage sales, expenses, inventory, partner investments, and customer debts manually or across different tools. This makes financial information difficult to track, increases the risk of mistakes, and makes collaboration between business partners complicated. A simple, secure, and centralized solution was needed.
The solution
Kasbora provides one easy-to-use mobile application where business owners and partners can manage their entire business. The app supports product and inventory tracking, sales, purchases, expenses, capital management, automatic ownership calculation, receivables, financial reports, and activity history. Business data is securely stored in the cloud and synchronized across authorized devices.
Key features
Engineering challenges
One of the main challenges was building a secure multi-business architecture where data from different companies remains completely isolated while partners of the same business can share information. Other challenges included implementing partner capital and ownership calculations, financial transaction tracking, secure authentication, multi-device synchronization, cloud backup, bilingual localization, and reducing backend cold-start delays.
Results
Kasbora was successfully developed as a cloud-connected business management application with secure multi-user access, centralized financial data, real-time cloud synchronization, and a simple mobile interface. The final architecture uses Flutter for the mobile application, Cloudflare Workers for the serverless backend API, and Turso for the cloud database, providing fast and reliable access without depending on a continuously running local computer.
