Engineering challenges

One of the main development challenges was creating a reliable offline-first financial experience while keeping user data synchronized with cloud services. Another challenge was maintaining accurate relationships between budgets, expenses, shopping purchases, and financial reports. For example, purchased shopping items can automatically become recorded expenses. The application also required careful handling of user authentication, local financial storage, budget history, data synchronization, and report generation.
